Rafał Blachowski - senior distribution specialist

Choosing to work at De Heus was not accidental. In 2009, Rafał graduated in commodity science from the Faculty of Animal Bioengineering at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. His first job was working as a sales representative. In 2014, whilst browsing through job advertisements, he came across a vacancy for a distribution specialist at De Heus. Having graduated in agricultural studies, he was familiar with animal nutrition. Furthermore, he had already heard a lot of good things about De Heus. Many of his college colleagues worked at De Heus and praised the conditions and opportunities there. Rafał applied without hesitation and was invited to an interview at the company's headquarters. In 2015, he officially joined the De Heus team.

Kadi Mey Ismail - Product Manager Aqua

Kadi Mey Ismail, Product Manager Aqua, regularly visits farmers to find out the exact conditions and requirements of the local market. During his visits, he gains information to share with his stakeholders. He works with other departments, such as formulation, QA/QC, production, purchasing, technical specialists and commercial teams to power progress in the specific field of aqua feed. Kadi: “For me as product manager aqua, one of the most important challenges is to develop aqua feed that suits the local farm needs and conditions.”

Tarik Keij - Service Desk Engineer

Tarik Keij (26) is a De Heus employee who customers won't often come across. Nevertheless, he and his department are indispensable for the functioning of the organisation. Tarik is Service Desk Engineer, working for the IT department in the Netherlands.

De Heus and Koudijs premix animal nutrition is formulated to deliver consistent performance. Customers rely on it. This predictability requires constant attention to quality throughout the production process. Particularly since each premix is tailored to the needs of the customer. The company is flexible with its blends, but not with its standards. The premix animal nutrition factory in Veghel, the Netherlands embodies this philosophy. With a growing agricultural sector, Asia is a region ripe with opportunities for a company like De Heus which aims to be a global premix animal feed supplier. It already has a rapidly expanding feed and specialities business in many countries in Asia like Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia and India. Now the company plans to establish its own premix animal feed production in Vietnam.
