Tarik Keij (26) is a De Heus employee who customers won't often come across. Nevertheless, he and his department are indispensable for the functioning of the organisation. Tarik is Service Desk Engineer, working for the IT department in the Netherlands.

Celine Change (33) has always had wide interests. As a student at Wageningen University, she chose to specialise in nutrition and adaptation physiology. Knowing about an animal's physiology is one thing, but how can you influence physiological and other environmental aspects through nutrition? Celine wanted to know more. When she was in Australia for a study project in 2012, she found some information about the traineeship at De Heus. She was immediately intrigued. Next November, it will be 9 years since Celine joined De Heus, where she is currently Manager Global Support Poultry.

SustainabilityDevelopment programme for young employees
Our Young De Heus (YDH) programme offers young professionals an inspiring platform. Here, they will find information, coaching, guidance, and involvement regarding challenging topics of current interest. In addition, it acts as a driver and facilitator in new, mutual, multidisciplinary cooperation projects. This way, young employees are given ample opportunities to accelerate and expand their personal development. And while they are gaining new insights, their enthusiasm and acquired knowledge allows De Heus to continue to develop and innovate.

FattenersDaniel can spend more time with his family thanks to healthy animals
Daniel Koscianski is a pig farmer in Poland. In 2008 he took over the farm from his parents. He is specialized in pig fattening and keeps 2,000 fatteners. “I have always liked working in the countryside. I like what I do, Thus I continue doing it.”

Our peopleDinand Burgers - Head of Finance & Accounting De Heus Myanmar
Dinand Burgers joined De Heus in September 2018, starting as International Controller in the Group Control department. His work field included Africa. When asked whether he would be open to a position abroad, he needed a bit of time to consider. However, he and his wife soon decided that this would be an interesting move. Early this year, the family moved to Myanmar, where De Heus has been operating since 2016.
