Royal De Heus signed an agreement on 24 August 2012 regarding the forming of a joint-venture between De Heus and the Brazilian company Nutrifarms Ltda by the acquisition of a majority interest in Nutrifarms Ltda.

Arturo was born in Badajoz in 1987 and trained as a Veterinary Surgeon at the University of Extremadura. After 7 years doing clinical work with farm animals across Extremadura, he joined De Heus in 2017, becoming part of the team as Area Manager. He currently lives in Mérida, close to De Heus’ factory in La Garrovilla.

De Heus supports development of aqua farming in Myanmar with opening of new feed mill
On 25 November 2019, De Heus Myanmar celebrated the opening of a dedicated aqua feed production facility in Myanmar. This modern production site will give aqua farmers access to the affordable high-quality feeds needed to further improve the development of their farms.

Sondang One Mayosita is a Quality Assurance Supervisor at De Heus Indonesia. Her role involves overseeing the implementation of guidelines and requirements throughout the production process at all De Heus factories in Indonesia. Sondang is also instrumental in establishing the necessary requirements and guidelines for the new facility in East Java. Her daily responsibilities include coordinating with individuals in charge of various processes.

De Heus LLC (Vietnam) has been recognized as the ‘Company of the Year’ at the Benelux Business Awards 2014. The Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam ( BeluxCham ) in coordination with the Dutch Business Association Vietnam (DBAV) made the announcement at the awards ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on March 14. Gabor Fluit, the General Director of De Heus Vietnam, won the award for ‘Best Manager of the Year’.

Analyses generally takes too long and pig farmers often consider them too expensive because they yield little result. The alternative for respiratory disorders is to conduct a saliva analysis for piglets and growers. This is cheaper method and the results are quickly available.

At the beginning of 2019, De Heus initiated an extensive long-term scientific study of the influence of the female broiler breeder’s nutrition on chick quality. High chick quality already starts during the formation of the egg and the embryo in the female broiler breeder. The mother hen itself and its nutrition play an important role in this regard.
