A consortium of companies within the Netherlands Association of the Animal Feed Industry, NEVEDI, and the animal production chain, in collaboration with Wageningen University, has developed a Livestock Research programme: Feed4Foodure. De Heus financially supports this programme. In fact, we fulfil a pioneering role in this. And we not only provide financial support, we also gladly share the use of numerous research facilities on our own research farms. Our objective is to make a substantial contribution to a sustainable and healthy livestock industry in the Netherlands. And together, to reinforce our competitive position on the global market. PoultryDe Heus sells poultry slaughterhouses Van Miert to Clazing
Royal De Heus has signed a conditional agreement with Poultry Slaughterhouse Clazing. The agreement implies that Clazing takes over the poultry slaughterhouses of Van Miert and Mieki Hunsel from De Heus. As a result of the agreement, De Heus acquires a minority stake in Clazing. With this step, the slaughter capacity is safeguarded. Hereby, a slaughterhouse combination has been created with a positive future outlook. The proposed transaction has yet to be approved by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).

De Heus CZ opens new production tower in Bestovice
De Heus a.s., a subsidiary of De Heus Animal Nutrition, held a ceremonial opening, in the presence of the President of the Agricultural Chamber, for the new production tower in B?stovice. This official opening was last Friday, June 5th, 2015.

De Heus strengthens its market position in Serbia through the acquisition of a compound feed plant
On July fourth of this year, Royal De Heus signed an agreement for the acquisition of the Serbian compound feed plant Komponenta. With the acquisition of this new plant in Cuprija, De Heus now has two production locations in Serbia and thus has strengthened its leading position. The demand for high quality cattle, poultry and pig feeds is rapidly increasing in Serbia. The purchase of this plant will enable De Heus to amply meet this rapid growth in the near future.

A new production tower for De Heus Serbia
We proudly announce the commissioning of the new production facility at the location of FSH De Heus in Sabac, Serbia. During a formal ceremony on december 14th De Heus will officially open its new production facility. With this expansion De Heus increases its capacity by 50%. With this substantial investment De Heus Serbia finishes the first phase of its strategic development plan and strengthens its position on the Serbian market.

FSH Proteinka is now De Heus doo Sabac
Following the acquisition by Royal De Heus in July 2015 of FSH Proteinka, the company has now changed its name to De Heus doo Šabac in combination with launching a new company website and introducing an updated Corporate Identity.
