One day a year, De Heus Myanmar aqua feed factory workers take it to the streets of Yangon to raise awareness about the global plastic problem. In charge of coordinating the troops is Rachel Twhe, project manager at De Heus Myanmar.

SustainabilityFighting the waste of food
We are doing our utmost to ensure maximum efficiency in the conversion of vegetable raw materials into animal proteins. We also strive to achieve maximum output at minimum input. Building on its experience in the poultry sector, De Heus invested in a new aquafeed production plant in Borg El Arab, Alexandria. Here, Amro El Kady and Yasmine Kamar try to optimise the production of animal feed day in and day out.
