In 2022, Riem joined De Heus TMH as a Purchaser, where she worked alongside both localand regional teams to ensure alignment with the company’s goals. This period wasoverwhelming, but she gained new experience in purchasing crops, a role that resonatedwith her personally, as her family are rice farmers. She expresses gratitude to the Vietnamteam for their support during this transition.

NewsDe Heus Opens New Animal Feed Factory in Punjab, India
Rajpura, Sept 30th - De Heus India, part of De Heus Animal Nutrition, opens a new animal feed factory in Rajpura, Punjab. The factory, built with an investment of around 17 mln USD, is one of the largest and most advanced in India, carrying an installed capacity of 180 kMT with the potential to expand to 240 kMT. The factory has separate production lines for cattle, buffalo, poultry, and pig feed. It uses the latest European technology and automation to produce high-quality animal feeds.

Being a salesperson carries the responsibility of building trust and long-term relationships. As a Sales Staff member in the Shrimp Feed Division, Andre plays a key role in strengthening collaboration between farmers and the company.

NewsRoyal De Heus expands its Asian footprint with the acquisition of CJ Feed & Care
On October 1st 2025, Royal De Heus signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 100% of CJ Feed & Care’s operations in Vietnam, Indonesia, South Korea, Cambodia, and the Philippines. The transaction marks a significant step in De Heus’ long-term growth strategy. It reflects De Heus’ continued ambition to provide access to safe, nutritious, and affordable food by supporting independent livestock and aquaculture farmers in key growth markets. This acquisition includes 17 feed mills.

Royal De Heus makes strategic entry into the Balkans
On 15 July this year, Royal De Heus signed the agreement for the acquisition of 100% of the shares of the Serbian company Proteinka. By means of this acquisition De Heus is making an entry into the Balkans that is focused on the future. This step is in line with De Heus' aim of further broadening its country portfolio and building up a position in a region where the animal husbandry sector is set a fast development over the years ahead.

De Heus Nutrición Animal received last Wednesday the Business Excellence Award as The Best Animal Nutrition Company in Spain, during an event organized by the newspaper La Razón in Madrid. The company has emphasized that this recognition is the result of "great teamwork and a constant effort to contribute to innovation and sustainability in the livestock sector."

De Heus LLC (Vietnam) has been recognized as the ‘Company of the Year’ at the Benelux Business Awards 2014. The Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam ( BeluxCham ) in coordination with the Dutch Business Association Vietnam (DBAV) made the announcement at the awards ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on March 14. Gabor Fluit, the General Director of De Heus Vietnam, won the award for ‘Best Manager of the Year’.

NewsDe Heus Animal Nutrition partners with Black Jaguar Foundation to help realise the Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor
On August 17 De Heus Animal Nutrition signed a long-term partnership with the Black Jaguar Foundation to support their efforts in strengthening the longest of all nature corridors on earth and one of South America’s largest reforestation projects. The Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor in Central Brazil will have a total length of 2,600 kilometres and a width of up to 40 kilometres situated alongside the riverbanks of the entire Araguaia River and part of the Tocantins River. The Corridor connects two of the world’s most vital ecosystems: the Amazon rainforest and the Cerrado savanna.
