Our export department Koudijs Animal Nutrition will present itself at the Eurotier 2014 in Hannover, Germany next week. During Eurotier 2014 Koudijs Animal Nutrition will present its new Romelko Premium piglet feed solutions. Of course the Koudijs specialists and export managers from all other animal groups (e.g. poultry, dairy) will be there to let you in on all novelties.

Ethiopian Poulty Mission visits De Heus Netherlands
To stimulate the Ethopian poultry sector, a Poultry Platform was launched earlier this year in Addis Ababa by five important stakeholders in the Ethiopian poultry sector; the Ethiopian Poultry Producers Association, the Holland-Africa Poultry Partners, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and the Netherlands Embassy. The five parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish their commitment to cooperate on the Ethiopian poultry sector.

Challenging the cows at the beginning of the lactation period improves their health and efficiency, as well as the net profitgain per cow. Of course the milk production response depends on many factors, including the starting ration, the production level and the dry phase. The cows must be able to cope with the increased feed concentrate level.
