With a degree in zootechnical engineering and a creative and innovative nature, Fernando Fonseca applies his IT knowledge to his work, developing creative solutions to the challenges he encounters on the farms he visits. "I enjoy creating tools and apps that make everyday tasks easier for farmers. Sharing these innovations with my colleagues at De Heus and applying them for the benefit of our clients is incredibly rewarding," he adds.

Our peoplePaweł Maturski - senior cattle specialist
Paweł graduated from zootechnical studies. He specialised in animal nutrition and dietetics at the University of Agriculture in Krakow. “I joined the De Heus team in 2014 and I am currently a senior cattle specialist. I advise on nutrition but I am also a member of the Polish robotic group. Their main task is to acquire and transfer knowledge about milking robots to the working group dealing with customised premixes for individual farms.”

PremixWorking with a strategic partner to deliver premix innovation
In order to deliver the most innovative solutions as part of its premix animal nutrition strategy, De Heus forms strategic partnerships with key suppliers. The aim is to co-develop innovative new products, tools and service offerings that optimise animal performance and health. One such partner is Phileo by Lesaffre, who has a long history in yeast and now uses beneficial micro-organisms to naturally improve human and animal nutrition. Our peopleOsmar Silva - Quality Assurance Analyst I
Osmar is currently in his second year studying Quality Management at Cesumar University. He has also studied Music, been employed as a textile worker and worked as a production operator for a well-known washing machine company in the country. He is a hardworking, attentive and detail-oriented professional. “Whatever I do, I do it with humility and try to be the best,” says Osmar. This is the approach he is taking to build his professional career.

New factory Vietnam
Today we proudly opened our newest factory in Vietnam. With a great ceremony and a lot of guests we celebrated this milestone. This new production plant is the 7 th De Heus factory in Vietnam and the second factory in Vinh Long. We opened the first factory in Vihn Long in 2011. De Heus became active in Vietnam in 2008.
