Data Visualization Asst. Manager De Heus Indonesia
Starting as a Data Visualization Specialist, Wahyu quickly discovered that success in his field goes beyond technical expertise. Like many career journeys, the beginning came with its challenges. One of the biggest was understanding the complexity of the business beyond the numbers. He needed to learn how different departments operated, communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and ensure that the data being used was both accurate and meaningful. Looking back, those early challenges became some of the most valuable learning experiences of his career.

Empowering decisions through data
Today, Wahyu plays a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights. His work supports teams across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Genetics. By developing integrated tools such as Power BI dashboards and Customer 360 platforms, he has helped shift reporting from manual processes to accessible, data-driven decision-making.
“Behind every number, there is a story. And behind every better decision, there is data to help show the way.”
For Wahyu, success is not defined solely by implementation, but by the impact on how people work and make decisions. As he puts it: “I believe that when data is managed properly, it becomes more than a report, it becomes the foundation for sustainable business growth.”
A culture of learning and trust
Wahyu highlights De Heus Indonesia’s culture of collaboration, openness, and continuous improvement as a key driver of his development. He values the environment where employees are encouraged to share ideas, take ownership, and contribute, regardless of their role, while challenges are approached collectively with a focus on solutions rather than blame.
According to Wahyu, the high level of trust placed in employees creates meaningful opportunities for growth, where career development is measured not only by titles but also by skills developed and contributions made. After five years with the company, he has learned that growth does not happen overnight, but is built through continuous learning, embracing challenges, and adapting to change. Reflecting on his journey, Wahyu states: “For me, De Heus is more than a workplace. It is a place where data, trust, and opportunity come together to help shape the best version of myself.”
“Never stop learning and never be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Focus on developing your skills and creating meaningful contributions, when you consistently add value, opportunities will naturally follow.”
