Since joining De Heus India in 2024 as a Data Analyst in the Commercial department, Poonam Verma has discovered how much impact data can have on business success. Working closely with the sales team, she transforms complex information into clear insights that support smarter decision-making across the organisation.
What she enjoys most is uncovering the story behind the numbers. “Looking beyond the data helps me understand real business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement,” says Poonam.
Turning data into better decisions
Analysing trends, identifying patterns and translating data into practical reports are all part of Poonam's daily work. Her role helps teams make informed decisions based on reliable insights. One project she is particularly proud of is sales forecasting. “It strengthened both my analytical skills and my understanding of how data supports business goals,” she explains. Beyond the work itself, Poonam values the supportive environment at De Heus. The encouragement she receives from colleagues and her manager has helped her grow professionally and take on new challenges with confidence.
