When Percy joined De Heus in 2011, he was driven by more than a job opportunity. The company’s values, expressed through its core slogan "Together for Better Results", deeply aligned with his own ambitions: to contribute to high-quality feed production, support animal well-being, and serve the farming communities of Vietnam and beyond. The name Percy, chosen at the very beginning of his career, was inspired by the character Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon known for his control over water. As he joined the Aqua division, it felt fitting—a name symbolizing strength, adaptability, and purpose.

Percy’s professional foundation was laid through the mentorship of his former manager, John, who emphasized emotional discipline, continuous learning, and collaborative leadership. Under his guidance, Percy developed a strong sense of professional responsibility and a deep commitment to results-driven teamwork.
Yet some of Percy’s most powerful lessons came directly from the field. Engaging with farmers — listening to their concerns, understanding their realities — became both the greatest challenge and the most rewarding part of his work. These experiences sharpened his problem-solving mindset and taught him how to turn product knowledge into practical impact.
