09:00 – 09:15 | Opening

Today's program kicks off with a brief opening session, setting the tone for a day filled with valuable insights and collaboration. Our meeting will take place in the comfortable confines of the hotel's meeting room, providing the perfect environment for productive discussions and shared learning.

09:15 – 15:30 | Innovating for Agriculture's Future!

Over the past twenty years, we have grown into a leading global producer of high-quality animal feed. We have the ambition to continue growing sustainably but to achieve this, we have to respond quickly and effectively to changes in our environment. 

We live in a fast-changing world, where customer needs and expectations evolve rapidly. To keep up with these changes, we need to be agile and innovative. That's why we organise a Hackathon. It's a collaborative journey where teams leverage their diverse skills to innovate, brainstorm, design and implement solutions for real De Heus challenges. The goal is to create a concrete prototype or proof-of-concept for a service, approach, product or concept within a short timeframe. It presents a unique opportunity to unleash all our talents to explore new business opportunities and bridge the gap with unmet customer needs.

16:15 – 17:45 | Inspirational strategies for impactful marketing

Get ready to explore collaboration, innovation, and sharing marketing successes! During this engaging session, we'll focus on crafting effective, customer-centric campaigns. Join us as we dive into the importance of strategic campaign development. We'll cover: 

  • Prioritizing customer needs and insights throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Fostering seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders, like the Nutrition and Sales departments.
  • Developing winning campaign strategies that drive results. 

 And that's not all! We've invited marketing colleagues to share their best practices. Come prepared to be inspired by success-proven campaigns that are making a difference in lives of our farmers. 

18:15- 22:00 | Dinner at 'Brasserie De Boerderij'

After a day of hacking, it's time for comfort. We'll leave the hotel at 18:15 for a 20-minute walk through a lovely park to our dinner spot. Comfortable shoes are a must for this evening stroll.

Tuesday May 28 | Location: HQ Ede

07:45 – 10:45 | Second part of the hackathon

Our journey begins today with a trip by bus to our headquarters in Ede. Please gather at the hotel lobby promptly at 07:45 for departure. There is time to grab coffee in Ede. At 08:30, we'll dive straight into our agenda, ready to embark on a day of exploration and innovation.

This morning, we're getting back to our hackathon. After a good night's sleep, it's time to share your ideas with your team. Let's work together to make our projects even better!

11:00 – 12:30 | Improving our digital journey

Join us for the session titled "Improving Our Digital Journey," designed to provide valuable insights with the emphasis on the future of digital marketing. This roundtable session offers an opportunity to explore emerging trends in the world of digital marketing. Our expert 'guests' will cover topics ranging from AI to trend of direct messaging and influencer marketing, offering future proof perspectives for enhancing your digital marketing impact. Expect engaging discussions and stay ahead in the digital landscape! 

13:15 – 16:30 | Personal influencing skills for better buy-in

During this workshop we dive into the world of persuasion and influencing! Explore and learn about effective strategies to ensure your ideas are heard loud and clear by your colleagues and your business.  You'll be equipped with tools, based on the interaction 

model of T. Leary (Leary’s Rose). You will also foster stronger connections with your marketing peers by creating learning experiences together. Expect an interactive session, insightful discussions, experimenting and actionable takeaways for future success. With hands-on activities tailored to common scenarios, you'll leave equipped to navigate the nuances of persuasion with ease. Join us for a down-to-earth and fun learning experience that promises growth, collaboration and tangible results. 

16:30 – 18:00 | Engage your audiences with videos

 In today's digital landscape, captivating video content has become essential for audience engagement and brand success. Together we will delve into the art of crafting compelling video narratives and get familiar with possibilities in the editing process to truly captivate your viewers. We will share tools, cool tricks, the best ways to do things, and fun ideas to make your videos awesome. Get ready to have fun, be creative, and inspire as you transform your videos into powerful tools for connection and engagement. 

18:00 - 23:00 | Barbecue for dinner

Tonight, we have an informal barbecue dinner on a special venue.

08:30 – 09:30 | Empowering your marketing strategy by ready to use digital solutions

Join us for the session 'Overview of all our tools in place’, where we'll dive into all Sales and Marketing platforms you can benefit from. Supported by several practical examples we will fuel you with ideas on how you can support your Business Unit in attracting,  engaging, and retaining customers. From analytics and automation to social media management and content creation, get to know with which tools you can create impactful relations with your audience. 

09:30 – 12:30 | Sales pitch to Co de Heus

For the first hour, you'll have time to put the finishing touches on your team's hackathon project. Then, in the second hour, it is time to keep your sales pitch for Co de Heus and Arno Willemink. 

13:30– 19:00 | A blend of culture and entertainment

Explore the Dutch culture at our marketing event's social programme! Start with a visit to the Openair Museum, where you'll immerse in scenic views and traditions. Then, enjoy a bite and bowling for some relaxed fun and networking. Join us for an unforgettable blend of culture and entertainment.
