Since early 2024, Teresa Ribeiro has been serving as the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Sustainability Coordinator for De Heus Portugal. With a background spanning animal nutrition research, feed formulation, and quality management, Teresa brings both technical expertise and a personal dedication to improving workplace conditions. “This role allows me to make a real difference in the daily lives of our employees, particularly in our plants,” Teresa explains. “Caring about people and their work environment is not only a responsibility, it’s a genuine concern.”

Teresa approaches her role with a hands-on mindset. Walking through the plants, engaging with employees, and observing operations are central to her work. Teresa finds energy and balance by spending time in nature, exploring new places, and enjoying quality moments with her family (where her dog is included).
