Nutritionist Ruminants
The Global Nutrition department works for Business Units worldwide, and covers Formulations, Species Specific Support, R&D and QA/QC. Within Formulations we would like to welcome an ambitious Nutritionist with focus on ruminants.
POSITION
As a nutritionist you will be part of team Iberia within the Formulations department. Based on your knowledge and experiences, you are the expert within the team regarding ruminant nutrition. You will work on formulations, as well as on projects like raw material evaluation, implementation of new concepts and innovations. Next to this you will be a link between formulations and the global ruminant team.
You are sparring partner for local and global product managers who are responsible for the feed assortment in their markets. You understand their commercial situation, and you are able to bring added value to the product and concept portfolio by delivering valuable input based on your knowledge of animal husbandry, animal physiology, raw materials and feed technology.
You will visit Iberian Business Units (expected travel is about 10% of your time) to maintain close contact regarding operational and quality related issues.
PROFILE
You have a MSc degree in Animal Nutrition and some years of relevant experience in formulation and/or nutrition. Furthermore, you are proactive, analytical and really enthusiastic about working in the ruminant related feed business.
Having experience in working with people from various backgrounds and different cultures has a preference. With your persuasive, communicative and pragmatic qualities, you are successful in your job. You have a problem-solving attitude with a result oriented way of working. Knowledge of the Spanish language will be a plus.
