Topic 5: Use of Residual flows
We want to convert raw material that is non-edible for humans (food waste, co-products and by-products) into proteins that are edible for humans. Next to that we want to reduce the use of scarce raw materials in animal feed by gradually incorporating valuable nutrients from residual flows from the (food) industry into our feed products.
Green goal
In 2030, our target is to maximise the utilisation of residual flows in our feed products, taking into account quality and safety, local acceptance, availability and cost competitiveness, while aligning with our commitment to actively participate in reducing food waste.
