What will your role be
As Product Owner Cloud Center, you are the driving force behind the digitization of Royal De Heus. Your main goal is to create support and establish an international Cloud Center of Excellence that supports all locations worldwide. This means that you are not only involved with the technical aspect but also constantly in contact to create buy-in.
In general, your role comes down to the following pillars:
- Vision and strategy: You develop and implement the roadmap for a Cloud Center of Excellence.
- Stakeholder management: You have frequent contact with stakeholders such as (IT-)managers to discuss and implement Cloud solutions within the business units.
- Sprint planning: You manage the backlog and ensure it aligns with business priorities. Additionally, you and the team explore the latest Cloud trends and translate these into opportunities for Royal De Heus.
- Finally, you oversee the progress of Cloud projects, report on, and present the results.
What do we offer?

- A salary between € 5.500,- and € 7.500,- based on 40 hours per week;

About Royal De Heus
You are going to work at the headquarters of Royal De Heus in Ede, one of the largest family businesses in the Netherlands. De Heus is an international company focused on animal feed. We produce and supply animal feed products for various animals, including poultry, pigs, cattle, and pets. Internally, you experience a down-to-earth and entrepreneurial atmosphere. De Heus has dozens production locations, including ten in the Netherlands. The headquarters is in Ede. The Global IT department consists of about forty colleagues. The teams in the Netherlands and Vietnam are leading the way in Cloud, with the other locations following at various levels. Both Dutch and English are spoken on the work floor.
What do we ask of you?
Because you will have many conversations and need to create buy-in, it is essential that you have a natural talent for seeing and hearing your fellow human beings. Thanks to your empathy and ability to argue, you are excellent at translating strategy into benefits for your conversation partner.
Specifically, we are looking for:
- An enthusiastic and charismatic communicator with experience in organizational awareness;
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodology and Microsoft Azure;
- Fluency in English and the ability to effectively interact with diverse cultures;
- The skill to inspire and motivate teams and stakeholders.
