As Group Compensation & Benefits Manager at De Heus, you will ensure that our global processes related to salary reviews, bonus schemes and job evaluation run smoothly, accurately and on time. This is a broad, hands-on role within Group HR, based at our headquarters in the Netherlands, supporting operations across more than 20 countries.

What will you do?
In this international role, you will be responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of the group's key compensation and job evaluation processes. You will translate frameworks into practical solutions, provide the analyses needed for informed decision-making, and ensure that annual reward cycles are managed with precision and excellence.
- You will lead the annual global salary review cycle and salary budgeting process, ensuring timely execution in line with agreed guidelines. In this role, you will work closely with HR Managers across all countries.
- You will prepare and manage the annual bonus process for senior management from end to end.
- You will administer and model short- and long-term incentive plans, ensuring that documentation, participation criteria and employee records are accurate and up to date.
- You will conduct salary benchmarking analyses using external data providers such as WTW and Mercer, maintain market data and advise on appropriate job positioning and grading.
- You will maintain and further develop the job evaluation and grading framework and support its application across our entities. Experience with Hay methodology or related frameworks is essential.
- You will provide advice on compensation and benefits matters in collaboration with local teams and external partners, proactively identifying risks and areas requiring attention.
- You will translate compensation data into clear, actionable insights for HR Business Partners and the wider organization, working closely with the HRIS team.
- You will serve as a key point of contact for HR and stakeholders across the business regarding the day-to-day application of compensation policies and processes related to salary, bonus, and job evaluation.
What do you bring?
You are analytical, detail-oriented and pragmatic. You enjoy ensuring that processes run smoothly from start to finish and build credibility through high-quality work, clear communication, and effective collaboration.
- You have three to six years of experience in Compensation & Benefits within an international, multi-country environment.
- You have hands-on experience with salary review cycles, incentive plans, salary benchmarking, and job evaluation or job architecture.
- You are highly proficient in Excel and comfortable working with HR and reward systems; experience with Workday is considered a strong advantage.
- You possess strong stakeholder management skills. You are able to collaborate effectively with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders at various levels and can translate complex compensation topics into clear, practical recommendations.
- You thrive in a relationship-driven, trust-based and decentralized family business environment.
- You are fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
