The Family Business Award was created by John Fentener van Vlissingen and gets awarded to the most prestigious Dutch family business every year. John Fentener van Vlissingen is an offspring of the most famous and most successful enterprising family of the Netherlands.  The jury awarded De Heus because “the unique form of cooperation of the family within the business.
