De Heus Ghana Dealer Day 2026: Celebrating Strategic Growth, Partnership, and Expansion
De Heus Ghana successfully hosted the 2026 edition of Dealer Day, marking a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing strategy to strengthen agricultural supply chains, enhance animal nutrition standards, and accelerate long-term industrial capacity. The organized Dealer Day served as a platform to present key strategic initiatives, including a rebranding announcement, dealer manual launch, future vision and strategic growth, as well as awards and recognitions. The 2026 edition brought together business management, dealers, and industry stakeholders across two main clusters: the Northern Cluster, convened at the Lancaster Hotel in Kumasi on July 14, 2026, and the Southern Cluster, hosted at No. 1 Oxford Street Hotel and Suites in Accra on July 16, 2026.
Rebranding from Koudijs to De Heus
A central feature of Dealer Day 2026 was the formal announcement of the brand transition from Koudijs to De Heus Ghana across the entire national dealership network. While Koudijs has maintained a strong market presence since its first feed exports to Ghana in 2005, the alignment under the global De Heus identity marks a deeper integration into De Heus’ global expertise, deeper product innovation, and stronger market support.
This rebrand reflects nearly two decades of continuous market adaptation and growth within Ghana. By transitioning fully to De Heus Ghana, the organization unifies its corporate identity, reinforcing its long-term presence and institutional commitment to the Ghanaian market.
"It is a great honor to host you here today. This event is for you. It’s about partnership; it’s about success. For us, this is truly a joint partnership - your success is our success, and our success is your success. We would not be here if not for you. We see a very bright future ahead. We are here to stay. We have a lot of confidence in you, in Ghana, and in the market." — Alexander Peeter, Business Director at De Heus Ghana
The rebranding process assures dealers and farmers of consistent quality standards while opening up to expanded global market support and expertise.
Dealer Manual Launch
To support operational clarity and standardisation across dealership channels, De Heus Ghana launched its official Dealer Manual during the event. The manual serves as an operational benchmark, detailing best practices in feed handling, storage protocols, commercial ethics, support standards, and technical and product knowledge.
Recognizing that feed quality must be preserved from the mill to the farm gate, the Dealer Manual outlines De Heus' commitment to establishing a standardized approach to sales and service across our dealer network.
By equipping our partners with precise operational guidelines, the initiative aims to create a more resilient environment for livestock farmers to thrive.
Alongside the manual launch, De Heus Ghana reinforced its structured Loyalty Program, which recognizes top-performing dealers across four distinct categories: Go, Grow, Pro, and Exclusive. The framework rewards commercial consistency and operational compliance.
“True partnership goes beyond product availability; it is about building sustainable growth together with a guide, and our transition from Koudijs to De Heus Ghana also reflects our continued commitment to our dealer network and Ghanaian farmers.”
— Samirah Raji, Commercial Manager at De Heus Ghana

Growth and Future Vision
Today, De Heus Ghana’s national footprint encompasses a network of 145 dedicated dealers across all major commercial hubs and regional cities. This network forms an essential logistics link between state-of-the-art feed production and the thousands of commercial livestock farmers who rely on consistent access to reliable feed.
To match current market growth, De Heus Ghana is aggressively expanding its physical production capabilities. Future strategic growth plans center on the construction and commissioning of a new, high-capacity feed production factory in Kumasi; expanding local raw material sourcing to empower Ghanaian grain farmers and optimize input costs; and maintaining a reliable supply of high-quality feed solutions for farmers. These plans will substantially increase local production volume, shorten distribution lead times to Northern and Central Ghana, and create direct and indirect employment opportunities within the ecosystem.
As a leading feed and animal nutrition provider for Ghana's poultry, aquaculture, swine, and ruminant sectors, De Heus Ghana remains focused on strengthening agricultural supply chains, boosting productivity amongst farmers, and advancing sustainable agricultural growth across the country.
Powered by a team of over 200 dedicated professionals across all departments, we work directly alongside our dealers and farmers to turn our commitments into tangible value. Through our technical farm advisors, we bridge the gap between our high-level operations and everyday farming needs.
As Dealer Day 2026 concluded, the overarching sentiment remained centered on shared momentum, industrial leadership, and long-term investment. With robust local infrastructure, a unified corporate identity, and clear operational frameworks, De Heus Ghana is uniquely positioned to drive the next generation of agricultural productivity in Ghana.
