To strengthen the support for our growing number of business units, we are looking for a Group Manager Nutrition and Support who will further extend our success by leading the R&D and support teams of the global poultry department.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Group Manager Nutrition and Support you lead the two teams of the global poultry department, Research & Development and Global Poultry Support. Your goal is to maintain and develop the species product & service portfolio on a high level. You do this by leading the two teams in a professional motivating way, stimulating cooperation and customer focus and in facilitating professional development and personal growth. Each team has a responsible manager that will report directly to you. Together, you are responsible for developing, formulating and executing the global product development strategy for our global poultry businesses.
In many parts of the world, the poultry production chain is integrating more and more. As De Heus, we are involved in various parts of the poultry chain. To support this integrating business, you will be accountable for developing, formulating and executing the right strategy and product & service portfolio for these various parts of the value chain. This is an addition to the current responsibility of the global poultry team and you are expected to lead this development. You will work closely together with stakeholders within De Heus business units and headquarters.
What do we expect from you?
You are able to bridge different cultures and different departments to sustain and further develop the success of De Heus Animal Nutrition. We expect you to be versatile and to successfully assist our business units to grow to the next level, not only in nutrition and farm support, but also in other parts of the value chain.
You have at least 10 years of experience in (technical) animal nutrition or animal protein value chain, preferably in poultry. People describe you as energetic, communicative, a leader and a people manager. You need to be fluent in English and willing to travel up to maximum 25% of your time.
