With over 10 years of experience in the market the company made a significant contribution to the development of the livestock and feed sectors in Ethiopia. For our joint-venture in Ethiopia we are looking for an Operations Coordinator.

What will your responsibilities be?
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the full production support in our factory and works closely together with the production director. You will support and train production operators and will perform production and quality checks for produced batches in line with the standards and according to formulated recipes. Furthermore you will take initiatives to adjust machinery and production control software. Next to production support you will be accountable for technical and operational support. You will maintain the production line, implement structural improvements to the manufacturing process and organization and will be the problem solver. In this role you make sure that production can continue, you will manage relationships with international suppliers and If needed procure spare parts from abroad in a fast and efficient way. Since we are always improving and innovating our processes and products, e.g. using new raw materials, you will be involved in innovation projects and cooperate with the plant manager and departments in Ede to make sure that new initiatives are correctly implemented.
What do we expect from you?
We are looking for somebody that can get things done with a positive, can do mentality.
Furthermore you understand basic manufacturing technology and like to fix things. Preferable you have completed a relevant education in mechanics or electro mechanics or gained experience in and within a maintenance/ technical role.
You need to be a strong communicator who is able to build relationships and act like an owner. Affinity with keeping livestock or the animal feed sector is a plus. You can speak and write in English.
You display the following personal characteristics: hands-on, energetic, honest, problem-solving and results-oriented. You are willing to live in Ethiopia for at least the next 2 years.
