Group Manager Nutrition & Support Swine

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Manager Nutrition & Support Swine you are responsible for one of the Nutrition & Support teams. Your goal is to lead the organization in terms of product development, implementation of new innovations and nutritional & technical support for swine. By your clear vision, you are able to facilitate our business units to grow to the next level.

You do this by leading your team of international product managers, technical specialists, product developers and researchers in a professional and motivating way. You lead the team as a co-worker, which means you also execute projects yourself. You stimulate cooperation with various other departments, maintain client focus and facilitate professional development and personal growth. You have a coordinating and inspiring role in the field of product development within your Nutrition & Support team.

You are a sparring partner for the commercial and technical departments for all business units with the goal to support them in their nutritional, research and product development needs. You will work closely together with the Global Marketing & Sustainability team and other Nutrition & Support teams to align the marketing and development strategies.

What do we expect from you?

  • MSc degree or proven level by working experience;
  • At least 10 years’ experience in technical or commercial animal nutrition field;
  • Solid agricultural experience with a strong preference for practical experience in farm animal production, nutrition and/ or management;
  • Experience with leading a team of professionals from various backgrounds;
  • A strong learning orientation;
  • People management skills;
  • To be energetic and to take initiative;
  • Able to inspire and connect;
  • Able to bridge different cultures and people;
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); preference for Dutch speaking
  • Willingness to travel: max. 25% of the time;
