Business Intelligence Specialist

What will your responsibilities be?

As our BI Specialist, you will be part of our Global Data & Analytics team and report to Pascal van Hattum, Group Manager Data & Analytics. One of your responsibilities will be, together with the business units and business areas, to design and convert information needs of colleagues into reports and dashboards. Storytelling is your thing, you know how to reach and how to touch your colleagues with your data story telling skills. You use your knowledge to improve data visualizations and to design, develop and implement the visualizations into a concrete business solution. You will also help to further shape and build our datalake from which you can create the best reports and dashboards for the business.

What do we expect from you?

You have a passion for data and numbers and a thorough understanding of data infrastructure. You are specialized in transforming data into innovative but practical solutions. You will be the bridge between the Business and the  Data / IT department. 

You have completed a relevant bachelor or master degree. Several years of working experience with SQL and BI tooling (such as PowerBI, Qlickview or Tableau) is a must. Experience with the Microsoft Stack is a preference, as well as familiarity with at least one of the following Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS or GCP. Furthermore you have the following key skills: analytical, experience in data handling and modelling and a project- and objective-oriented way of working.

The following personal characteristics come natural to you: result-oriented, communicative, creative, stress resilient and accurate. You need to be fluent in English and Dutch.
