The Liquid Feeding Team

Optimising rations is the basis for achieving good technical results. This applies to self-mixing dry feed farms, nipple (mix) farms and liquid feed farms. Knowledge of and experience with liquid feed is an absolute precondition for success. The De Heus LFT combines knowledge, cooperation and the exchange of experiences and data. This leads to a strong team with an extensive (practical) knowledge.

The Liquid Feeding Scan

The pig farmer assesses, step by step the liquid feed system together with two De Heus specialists. The Liquid Feed ration is also thoroughly scrutinised. The Liquid Feeding Scan takes approximately half a day and the data is compiled in a report. A good system combined with a good ration leads to optimum results. If one of the two has not been fine-tuned in the best way possible, results are easily compromised.

The Condition Compass

A properly developed sow in the right condition constitutes the basis for achieving top results. In practice the condition of sows is often equated with back fat. However, condition is more than just back fat. The Specialists at De Heus have developed the know how and th right tools for far better results on participating farms.

Dairy Compass

Good advice, substantiated with the right information is indispensable for dairy farmers. Efficient, specialist supervision from your cattle specialist is therefore very important. A great tool is the Dairy Compass. The management program for dairy farmers. This program provides the opportunity to carry out all manner of analyses to help farmers "navigate" towards greater results.

Glucose Supplying Capacity

The consequences of changes to the ration for milk production and milk protein production can be predicted better on the basis of the Glucose Supplying Capacity. This improves our ability to capitalise on the wishes of cattle farmers.
