GMP+ 

De Heus has to deal with long supply chains and a large number of raw materials. That is why the company demands extreme meticulousness from its staff and suppliers. De Heus uses quality control systems such as GMP+ to manage risks.

Feed-trac²

In the event of raw materials contamination we can trace the source using information systems we have developed such as Feed-trac². Quality control is a continuous process in which everyone in the organisation is constantly involved. Naturally, our central laboratory plays an important role in this.

R&D

In order to continue to be a leader in the field of nutrition De Heus has its own Research & Development department which supports nutritionists and product managers. This department has excellent experimental facilities for pigs, broilers and parent animals, dairy cattle, turkeys and layers. The trials are carried out in such a way that even small improvements can be proven in a statistically reliable manner. Outside our own research we also set great store in our network which includes the Animal Science Group in Wageningen and  the European Feed Team (of which organisation we are a member).
